Based on the latest information, the upcoming realme 12 Pro will not stand out with its performance. Benchmark Geekbench has revealed that the processor of this smartphone is not too impressive. The results of single-core and multi-core tests indicate low processing power.
The realme 12 Pro processor consists of two clusters. The first cluster operates at a speed of up to 2.21 GHz and includes four cores, while the second cluster consists of four cores that work at a frequency of up to 1.80 GHz. Although these results are sufficient, they belong more to the lower end of the performance ladder rather than the top.
It is worth comparing the realme 12 Pro to its competition. For example, the budget-friendly POCO X6 Pro achieves a score of over 1.4 million points in the AnTuTu test and costs relatively less. The performance-to-price ratio is much more favorable here.
An interesting comparison is also with the previous version, realme 11 Pro. This model also had similar performance results, operating on the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset. Therefore, the performance leap seems to be minimal, and there are not high hopes for significant improvement.
It is worth noting that the new realme series will be introduced to the global market on January 27, 2024. However, considering the low performance of the realme 12 Pro, this is not a very promising sign. Despite its attractive price, the performance of this smartphone may leave much to be desired.
