SteamDB data shows that players have enthusiastically returned to the game, with nearly 25,000 simultaneous logins recorded in the last twenty-four hours (specifically 23,234, as of the time of preparing this news).
The new update not only restored the functionality of the multiplayer servers but also introduced both old and new game modes. Some maps have been modified, and players have reported an interesting discovery of Nessie plush toys that can now be found in various parts of the map.
Interestingly, Reddit forum users noticed a mysterious post on the event page for Harbingers in Apex Legends. The post contains three number sequences corresponding to the release dates of Titanfall, Titanfall 2, and Apex Legends in Unix time format. This has sparked speculation about a possible connection between these three games, but it cannot be confirmed at this stage.
It is worth mentioning that Respawn Entertainment previously worked on the third installment of Titanfall but ultimately decided to focus on developing Apex Legends. Whether the update in Apex Legends is related to the Titanfall series remains a mystery for now.
