ATLUS has unveiled new information and screenshots from the game Persona 5 Tactica, giving us a more detailed look at unique enemies, level elements, charging mechanics, sub-personas, weapon crafting, and high difficulty level.
Players will encounter diverse enemies as they progress through the story, including the Sumo-maton, a powerful enemy that throws units within its range, the elegant and elusive Geisha in armor who can block attacks from a distance, melee and special attacks, and the vanishing Shinobi who creates clones to confuse players.
The stages in Persona 5 Tactica are filled with interactive elements that impact gameplay. From surveillance cameras that summon enemies when provoked, to elevators that move parts of the board, players must strategically navigate these elements to gain an advantage.
The newly introduced charging mechanic allows characters to increase their strength if they don’t perform any actions during combat. This opens up possibilities for strategic positioning and baiting enemies to optimize the charging effects of different characters.
All thieves in the game can equip sub-personas, which increase their statistics and allow them to use unique and inherited abilities. Sub-personas are equipped with both active abilities that require SP points to activate, and supportive passive abilities that activate automatically during combat, offering various strategic options and character combinations.
The Velvet Room’s fusion service now offers the ability to merge two Personas and create powerful weapons. These unique weapons surpass those available for purchase in shops, giving players an advantage in battle.
For those seeking a challenge, Persona 5 Tactica offers a high difficulty level where enemy attacks and health are increased. Additionally, player attacks can now hit members of their own team, adding another element of strategy and caution during combat.
Persona 5 Tactica will be released on November 17 worldwide for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass.
