Nowa gra od Wargaming: Project CW – Czołgi w stylu “hero shooter”

Studio Wargaming, known for the popular game World of Tanks, is currently working on a new project codenamed Project CW. Unlike previous leaks, this new game is more reminiscent of Overwatch with tanks than World of Tanks 2.0. Although alpha tests are still ongoing, we can already see that Project CW is a dynamic title that incorporates many elements typical of the “hero shooter” genre.

In Project CW, players will have the ability to control tanks and engage in battles on various maps, similar to World of Tanks. However, this new game from Wargaming also features unique elements found in games like Overwatch and Apex Legends. Players will be able to respawn multiple times, regenerate their tank’s health, accelerate their movement, and choose from different character classes that fulfill various roles on the battlefield.

Unlike World of Tanks, the vehicle modification system in Project CW is much more extensive. Tanks can be upgraded, their appearance changed, and bonuses obtained during combat. The characters, referred to as agents, can also be developed. The gameplay in Project CW is less tactical than in World of Tanks, and the game modes are more diverse.

An interesting addition in the alpha version of the game is the introduction of a paid item shop, a characteristic feature of online “hero shooters”. Testers who have had the opportunity to play Project CW claim that it is an enjoyable title that can be started without much prior experience. Of course, many elements present in the alpha version may not necessarily appear in the final release.

If you want to participate in the Project CW tests, you still have a chance. The tests will continue until January 31st. Simply visit the developer’s website and fill out a short survey to receive an access code for the alpha version of the game. The official release date for Project CW is not yet known, but we can expect the game to debut no earlier than autumn 2024. The gaming world eagerly awaits further information about this promising production.
