    Nowe spojrzenie na zakup gier

Ubisoft, one of the largest creators and distributors of games, has announced plans to introduce new changes to its subscription service. The company will offer two subscription levels: Ubisoft+ Premium and Ubisoft+ Classics. This significant step aims to adapt to the growing preferences of gamers.

Philippe Tremblay-Gauthier, the director responsible for the subscription department at Ubisoft, shared his thoughts on the future of the purchasing model, stating, “Soon, we will not own our games.” In an interview with GamesIndustry.biz, Tremblay-Gauthier explained that the company is monitoring consumer behaviors and preferences and responding to how users engage with Ubisoft’s offerings.

Ubisoft is aware of the upcoming shifts in the industry and aims for a complete transformation towards the Games as a Service model. This concept, which has already proven successful in other industries like music and film, is also a response to the evolving preferences of gamers. Although the transformation in the gaming world is slightly slower than in other fields, Tremblay-Gauthier is determined to make players comfortable with not owning physical copies of games.

Ubisoft, a leader in the gaming industry, is taking a controversial approach to the purchase of its products. By strengthening its subscription service and offering two different subscription levels, the company demonstrates its willingness to evolve alongside the preferences of its player community. The future of games may lie in subscriptions, and Ubisoft is consistently following this trend to provide its customers with the best virtual entertainment experience.
