Carnival Corporation has announced a partnership with Galaxy Gaming to enhance the gambling experience on its cruise ships. Las Vegas-based gaming manufacturer, Galaxy Gaming, will introduce its progressive table games and Galaxy Operating System (GOS) into the casino spaces on Carnival’s fleet of ships.
The GOS system, a modern gaming management system, will be installed on over 50 Carnival Corporation ships, including those under the Carnival Cruise Line, Holland America Line, and Princess Cruises brands. Currently, the technology is already available on over 20 ships. The GOS system will enable the linking of progressive tables, facilitate gameplay at the tables, and offer progressive betting options.
Todd Cravens, President and CEO of Galaxy Gaming, expressed enthusiasm for this partnership, stating that the implementation of the GOS system will provide the highest quality progressive experience and renowned content for Carnival’s casino players. Marty Goldman, Vice President of Global Casino Operations at Carnival Corporation, shared the same views, emphasizing that the Galaxy Operating System will create unprecedented table gaming experiences, increasing the enjoyment, excitement, and rewards for guests.
Launched earlier this year, the GOS system offers progressive jackpot options, LED sensors, and digital tracking. It has been specifically designed to support the progressive jackpot system on Carnival Corporation ships. This partnership aligns with Carnival Corporation’s goal of providing extraordinary vacations at sea and delivering unforgettable moments of joy to millions of guests through enhanced gambling experiences.
